Silver Birches

Beautiful views, awesome lakefront location!!! Loved the firepits and enjoyed our cottage. However, this place has soooo much room for improvement. First, the whole place needs a solid power washing. Second, landscaping needs a huge lift. Lastly, this place seems to advertise itself as a top tier resort, but it’s more like a self serve campground. Outside breakfast tables and chairs were wet. Seating is cheap and mismatched chairs. Buffet continental breakfast was average.

Had a lovely stay mid snowstorm. Rooms seemed a bit dated but we could see the picture of coffee on the deck looking at the lake. Appreciated the hospitality would stay again. Fireplace was a great touch!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Silver Birches Inn while exploring the Hawley area. Almost immediately upon checking in, it became clear to me why this location has stood the test of time. The ambiance alone is breathtaking, the rooms are wonderful, and the staff is immaculate. Each and every member that I had the pleasure of interacting with was not only was attentive, but made me feel like I was visiting family that I had not seen in far too long. This location is more than a hotel or inn, it is a second home for anyone to enjoy. To anyone considering a change of pace, please consider coming out to the Silver Birches Inn. It amazes me how quiet the area was, as we almost had the entire town to ourselves. With how busy the world has gotten, and how disconnected we have become from simply enjoying nature, I think it is time for anyone reading this to consider booking the offseason more frequently as well. Thank you again to the Silver Birches Inn for an immaculate visit, I look forward to seeing you again.

What a lovely facility! Little dated but clean, accommodating, and reasonably priced. If your a Hilton snob good luck finding anything in this region! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

LOVE IT HERE! I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always a wonderful experience. My fiancé & I actually chose this spot to get married at because of how much we and our families love it. View of lake is perfect, rooms are great and service is amazing! Located in the best spot near all the good places too.

Stunning in every way, the staff are all extremely nice. Was the best place to stay and relax for our honeymoon. But we also want to come back with the kids as theres soo many fun activities and just on the hotel grounds alone! We will be back! :)

The rooms were slightly outdated, but still lovely. Our view from our porch was incredible. We did the mid week fall package and what they offer it for was incredible. We enjoyed the activities they offer throughout the stay. Wed love to come back.

It is a stunning lakeside property with very quintessential charm. There are incredible views of the lake from the room and porch. Acres of land to walk and wander. The Inn is located at the edge of the lake and it felt great to walk the stone/pebbled covered lakeside and soak in the nature. The biggest downside is the service. There is no hot breakfast. They offer a boil egg, store bought yoghurt, muffin etc. This is unacceptable for $200/night guests. Plus, their on-site restaurant closes at 8 PM. There is no room service. There is no microwave in the room either. There is no hotel staff after 9 PM. 10/10 for the experience but 5/10 for the service.
